Power of Attorney / Affidavit
When a Sri Lankan national requires a Power of Attorney for the purpose of submitting to a Court of Law in Sri Lanka or any other legal institution, the applicant should obtain a Power of Attorney from a lawyer in Sri Lanka along with his (lawyer's) letterhead and produce it to the Consulate General with the following documents.
- Applicant's valid Sri Lankan passport and Swiss visa/resident card
The applicant should sign the Power of Attorney in the presence of a Consular officer at the Consulate.
The applicant should produce the proof documents related to the content of the power of attorney .
Consular fee is CHF 63.00 per document
