Notice to Sri Lankan nationals in Switzerland

The Consulate General of Sri Lanka in Switzerland wishes to inform that applications for new Sri Lankan passports or for renewal of the current/expired passports will only be accepted  in person at the Consulate General. 

The applications received via Post will not be entertained. Therefore, the Consulate General requests Sri Lankan nationals living in Switzerland to obtain an appointment online to submit their applications in-person. 

Introducing a dedicated email for all Consular inquiries

The Consulate General of Sri Lanka in Switzerland will introduce a dedicated email address with effect from 01 November 2025 with a view to providing wider access, enhanced and more efficient service to Sri Lankans in Switzerland.

The Consulate General invites the Sri Lankan community in Switzerland to refer to the Consulate webpage at: http://www.lankamission.org where all information relevant to consular services are provided.

Effective 1st November 2025, Consular inquiries will be received and responded to, only through this dedicated email.
