Northern Province Chief Minister calls on President
Northern Province Chief Minister C.V. Wigneswaran called on President Mahinda Rajapaksa at Temple Trees yesterday (2.01.2014).
After wishing the President for the New Year, the Chief Minister and the President were engaged in a cordial discussion.
They also discussed some problems prevailing in the North and the ways and means related to solving administrative problems.
He took oaths as the Chief Minister of the Northern Province before President Mahinda Rajapaksa at Temple Trees on October 07, 2013.
Secretary to the President Lalith Weeratunga, Cabinet Secretary Sumith Abeysinghe and Treasury Secretary Dr. P.B. Jayasundera were also present.
